Fallout 3 Rob Co terminal/ MTK/ 1:2

According to the threads there are not too many fans of Fallout (unlike Star Wars, or Star Trek) :P , so I'm going to try to change a bit.

On Deviantart I found a very nice picture of Rob Co terminal with Mini nuke miniature on his top and I decided to build such a model, from MTKīs site.

At first I will build terminal, maybe with built- in iluminated vacum tubes.

Model is printed on ink- jet printer and for greater print resistance are sheets sprayed with acrylic lacquer.

Knowing nothing about Fallout will follow along to see what you come up with.

Fallout is a video game.

Star Wars and Star Trek are not.

So the comparison is not justified.

Yes there are fans of Fallout...I've wanted to play New Vegas for a very long time.
One day I will buy it.

I just spent a month wasting time on Fallout Shelter.
It got a bit monotonous.

Speaking of "illuminated vacuum tubes"... the girl is nice.
Can we have a model of her?

Glad to hear, that there are Fallout fans. And I'm very happy that the Falout film has not yet been created, because I can see the recent SW movies... :/

New Vegas is very good game, I like it very much. When uninstalling Fallout 4 (I like building settlements :D ) "g.o.t.y." edition, then I'm sure playing New Vegas again.

I play Fallout Shelter long time ago, even before there were pets.

Fallout is REALLY old RPG PC game.

Fallout | Fallout Wiki | FANDOM powered by Wikia

But not much games are better than games from that serie**, I mean Fallout, Fallout 2 (Mark Morganīs Vault Archive OST ambient music is really good) and 3D FPS/ rpg Fallout New vegas. Fallout 3 and 4 are... typical Bethesda games, for me like silicon/ botox gold digger girls**. Sorry guys.

But 3D games are good, because we can obtain 3D models to build paper models. :D

And a small sidestep, my sketchup model PipBoy 2000 for a friend.

** it's all my personal opinions, no offense

Some progress.

This model is not so accurate as I thought, but itīs nothing that Dr X-acto could not to do.

Building instructions for some pepakura models should start with the words: take x-acto knife and hot melt glue gun ...

But this is a 200-year-old terminal, so some inaccuracies can not stop us. :D

And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.
Thanks for the info about the games. I've never played a video game, so what little I know about them has basically came from seeing models from them on this site.

that a great idea for a model, and well done.
grow up with star war ( the real ones, from 70's and 80's ) but I'm a huge fan of the fallout universe.

Thank you very nice, I only saw the first three parts of Star Wars movies in the mid 80s, for the new parts I have not enough courage: D

I have found that the tubes produce too much heat for this type of lighting to be used in the paper model, I will have to use the orange LEDs for lighting.

Some progress on Mini Nuke.
