Which one do you prefer? I prefer the first one, the simplest. In this case the ship leans on the engine modules.
Any suggestion?

Best, Nando
Vote for #1, like how it stands out, background doesn't take the eye from the model!

Great job! Glad you stuck with it Nando. It can even be rotated!

I thank everyone for the support and encouragement you have given me throughout the construction of this model. At the beginning I believed that the model was simple, but continuing in the work I had to work hard to realize the single parts. They are particularly complex and despite the perfect design and detailed instructions, some steps have proved particularly difficult.

But the most difficult moment was when I started putting together the single parts, because the particularly weak structure seemed to make it impossible to finish the assembly in a decent way, making all the work done up to that point useless. I thought I had come to a standstill.

But, thanks to your suggestions and encouragement and extensive research, in the end I managed to find ways to solve the problems of weakness and support at the same time.

The model will be exhibited at the weekend at an exhibition of models at the prestigious Altec headquarters here in Turin during the event to commemorate among other things the 50 years of 2001 A Space Odissey. For the occasion I thought of adding a background with the poster of the film that also represents Gargantua and the photo that someone has posted to show also the "real" spaceship.

Thanks again to everyone
Nando
