Oh, agreed, alclad is certainly the best choice. I've noticed recently that they (or at least some of them) are available in a spray can. I know the chrome is, at least for lexan, and I'm assuming that there would be little difference in the finished effect for this verses the standard formulation.

True, but in this case, it's only a click away. Same name, too, overseas. Expensive, but the results are incredible.

True, but Alclad isn't one of them. It is available in Germany at least AFAIK, so our overseas friends can obtain it at reasonable prices. At least, I'm pretty sure it is; there are certainly a lot of European modelers on SSM who use the stuff.
