Looking good, can't wait to see more. You're making me want to get back into my Falcon although I just don't have the room for it right now.

Looks very precise and clean. Are you gluing the side parts on just the edge of the reinforcement parts? And finally are you retexturing the hull? My A-Wing is retracting in to the shadows out of shame ;-)

Thank you papierschnitzel. I used fresh blade and it makes wonders with edge cleaneness. I need to change them more often .

Here is one side laying flat:

And here is the part in the midle of the proces of attaching it to the frame:

First I gued it at the top and bottom of the frame and then edgeglued the rest all the way to the front.

Whole model is redone heavily. I remodeld almost everything and retextured the whole thing to be as close to the original as possible. You can see the evolution in first post of the thread.

I enclosed the frame. It gave me a hard time. After gluing it made dents on the side of the hull. I thougth I am done and seriouse redesign would be needed. After I calmed down I cut the hole to the back where engines will be atached and stuff paper tissue inside to smooth the dents and it saved the day. It worked good and leftower imperfections will be covered by smaller detail. I can say I was really happy I do not have to redesign it.

Yeah, these wings/shapes are a bit tricky. I like the idea using cotton to stuff the inside!

I thickend the hull edges and made some progress on the back

Looks fantastic! You'd be hard pressed to tell whether it's a papercraft or plastic kit when it's finished!
