I'm amazed at the re-coloring /Photoshop you did - they look so 3-dimensional...can you pls teach me?

Again, amazing work!

Thanks for your kind words, guys. Alan, I'm still learning myself, LOL. I just found out how to make a dotted line a few months ago. I've never checked, but I'm sure there's youtube videos that could teach you far more than I could. I bought Photoshop for Dummies a while back, but didn't get much out of it.

Anyway, the Vanquisher is all finished. I had to redraw a few turret parts that just didn't fit well. Notably, the storage box or counterweight on the back of the turret, and the main gun mantlet. A part that I should have redrawn (but didn't) is the support for the light that's mounted above the main gun. The spotlight should be horizontal, not angled downwards as on my model.

To add a splash of color, I made the light that sits above the main gun red - must be for spotting targets in the infra-red spectrum. Also mounted on top of the turret is an apparatus that I supposed was another light of some kind. I colored the lens green, for night vision targeting.

The model comes with fenders but I decided to leave them off. I didn't want to cover up the tracks, and the tank just looks meaner without them. There are illustrations and model photos of the Vanquisher without fenders, so leaving them off is a legit field modification.

I'm disappointed in the photos. I'm giving serious thought to mounting the tank on some sort of small diorama base. If I do that, I'll take a few final final photos that hopefully will be better.

Thank you one and all. A few folks (here and on VK) have asked if I would be willing to share the recolored file. I've sent a Facebook message to the designer, Vadim Davydkov soliciting his permission to make the file available to others. I'll let you know what he says.
