What do you figure the scale is now?

Final model is or should be around 55cm which based on the info for the Donnager which is rated at 500M puts it at roughly 1/910.

So have done a few little additions to the model. Add the front detailing, minus the cowls. So that's the reverse thrusters and hull features, the lower ones are 100% getting redone as something went wrong with the design. Have also added the rail gun mounts.

Oh yeah and I spent a few minutes and opted to put the prototype back to together after it's run in with the cat.

Not too much left to do now. Railgun, engine nacelle details and the front upper and lower cowls and then some hull plating detail and highlighting.

Anyone got any ideas what kind of stand they would prefer? I'll be wall mounting the model above the Roci model so I already have an idea for that stand but I know some folk prefer a free standing display.

That's awesome!

As for the stand, maybe something like this could work:

It may be a bit broader to suit the model. I could send you a blank template to play with.

I'd be interested in knowing how or what you use to mount the ships on the wall. I like the visualization of that. Great work!

Nice, the stand could most likely be easily adapted to work with the model.

For the Roci model I used an Ikea Persby shelf. I believe their are two versions of this shelf that they sell. That come in different sizes.
They are meant to be these sort of shelves that look like they just hang from the walls with no support arms which means they come with these brackets.

Bolt to the wall and then build a stand that can be fixed to the bracket, the result

Missile / weapons module and cowl have now been built.

It also means I can get a proper final measurement for the model.

56cm minus the comms array meaning it comes in at a 1/900 scale model, again assuming that the Donnager is 500m in length.

So quite a big step today, what I would call the final main part of the vessel is complete.

This is the comms array and it's cowl.

Of course with these two last parts done I had to do a test fit and get a final look at the ship it's full glory.

The weapons and comms arrays aren't fixed in yet as I still have to add some additional comms aerials to the main body but that's the final ship deisgn.

Just the railguns to texture and a few bits of hull detailing to be done along with a stand for the ship to go.

Lol I can't believe I started this project way back in November last year.

It's been worth the time, the ship looks absolutely gorgeous. Well done!
