I hate repetitive parts. Probably why I've never built an N-1 rocket; all those first-stage engines. But this looks good. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I'm really enjoying watching this design come to life. Cant wait to build it! (I just built one of your PDC turrets over the weekend as a break from the Sulaco, Discovery, ISS, and Enterprise series) Looking forward to building another Roci in the future!

A Donnie and a Tachi are gonna look great in my "museum"!

Have we discerned a scale for this model?

1:850. The wiki puts the ship at 475M the final model is looking to come out at around 55cm. Of course scale values will change if you include the comms array which stick out beyond the main body. I may or may not tweak my final build to 1:800 this would make it the same length as my 1.5 times larger Roci model, 60cm.

I think I've caught the bug now I've been looking at this as either a side or the next project

Can you share some drafts with parts without textures?
Remember that there's also some other great design:

Mars stealth ship

Can do, the model currently has 30 pages of parts. Not sure if this will go up or down once I reorder and rearrange the parts but I currently have no design for the Railgun or the Engine Bells. Any specific parts that you're interested in?

The Anubis? I don't think that was an MCRN ship it was an Amun-ra class ship built by the Earth based Mao-Kwikowski Mercantile. I've also looked at the images for the ship and it looks like it could be a real pain in the bum to design

I mean look at this thing

It's a real mis-mash of odd shapes and weirdly is one of the few ships in The Expanse that I am not too fond of. But we'll see, maybe

Some more progress to report.

Have done some reworking on the blender model, this was as a result of seeing that I had missed out two bits of detail at the front of the ship. The upshot being that I have now moved the railgun mounts forward while also making the mounts thinner and longer. This is more inkeeping with most of the images I have seen of the ship.

I've also finished the final bits of detail on the blender model. This includes the bow caps on the main body, I had to resize them due to moving the railgun mounts forward, added two side modules which I have now found out are actually reverse thrusters to the front of the model, have finally got round to designing the engine bells and tweaked the size of the railgun to make it a bit longer. I've also worked out where and how to attach all the little antenna that make up the comms array.

So with that in mind here's a quick video of what I suspect, all things going well, of being the final model design for the model.

I've also gotten round to putting the final three engine nacelles on the prototype.

I am constantly in awe of those who can design models. The more detail, the more my amazement and respect grows!!
