Vermin King's Bessie

This is Doctor Who's Bessie designed by Vermin King. I resized it, and modified it a little.

This is as far as I am in the build. Made some tire trids, and straps for the windshield and hood. I doubled the headlights so I could use them as halves to make each light. Hope you like it thus far.

Thank you Vermin King. Since the tires are wider I had to shorten the axles so the fenders covered the tires. Now more of the build. The model is finished!

Very nice. You are the proud owner of a unique model. I hope you didn't have too many issues

No, there wasn't any real issues with the build. Was I supposed to cut out the White blocks on the fenders? I did have a gap between the seat and the back of the seat leaving a white gap that I colored black with a marker. I also lengthened the running boards, but not the fender parts. I love how it turned out resized bigger. It is the best Bessie paper model I have seen. I loved it so much I just had to resize it, and build it.

Yes, the white area between the fender brackets was meant to be removed.

I humbly agree with you that it is the best one that I've seen, but that doesn't mean someone couldn't develop a better one.

Dave Okum of OkumArts just released a bunch of Epic Scale Doctor Who figures for gaming, and I think I came up with a model for that scale that isn't overly complicated, but fairly closely mimics the original, and is a pretty quick build.

Do you remember what percent that you enlarged it?

I think the resize might work with the doctor who action figures. Resizing is hard to say. I reized the parts in MS Paint from 100% to 150%. However I put them on an A4 blank template I use when I design or resize a model. If you want I could send you the 11 templates I made.
