Thanks for that Pete, but I already have an ET and SRB setup already scaled to go with this Shuttle model. Strangely enough, I got it from the same site you linked to! If you go here http://jleslie48.com/gallery_models_real.html and scroll down a bit, the second Shuttle model down has a stack that will also go with the FG/Delta 7 version . You're right, the one I'm building at the moment isn't a bad little model actually. Not as detailed as some, but still quite impressive when finished I think. I built it in paper before I got properly into the hobby, but would like to build it again out of card and try to do it justice this time.

I like it. The pedestal is very well designed.

How thick is the clear styrene?

shuttle

That is a great little ship, too bad you decided not to do the interior. I just finished the Rubicon but the shuttles, the work bees, and this little shuttle are in my line of sight to do. Fine work and by the way, something is different about your avatar, it is not as shapely as the previous one.:D

CD's build has inspired me to have a go and being a glutton I tried to do the interior. I used 80gm and stuck the interior panels on the back of the outer skin but I think the interior would fit inside OK as originally intended. I fitted an over thick sheet of clear plastic and then cut the window out. The small scale make it tricky to photo well and you can see all the mistakes in this. I cheated and docked the pod with the rear wall.

A nice evening's work.

Thank you Rawen.

I fancy doing the rest of the Enterprise at this scale now. Didn't someone start a large Enterpise project - he released the bridge section but got no futher?

Hey, Chris,

Is the Rawen Travel Pod offered for download? I've only seen (and built) the Homespun Magixx version. I'd post a picture of it, but I don't have a photo website.

Indeed it is, here - Rawen's Travelpod. Right click on the picture and choose 'Save Image...' or whatever your browser's equivalent is.

Rick, I know I can get one, it's just laziness on my part. <G>
