The wings are mounted. There was some missfitting and I had to reinforce the joints to get a good hold. I used spare parts ( the bands at the wingroots, last picture) to cover up the gaps that were reinforced.

As I said before, the nosecone also had fittingproblems. I had to cut of some petals on the underside. I covered up the gap with a spare part ( the band, the third picture ).

I then noticed that I hade managed to switch place on the middle part. Because the engine parts did not aligne. But I have some ideas to clear this misstake.
To be continued...

A very nice battle, this model cannot be built, but you didn't know it, so you built it :D

I determined the scale of this model (middle section with cockpit and wings) according to the size of the seat to 1:16

Thumbs up

You are doing a fine job in overcoming the numerous problems with that model.
In my aborted attempt at contructing the model I too used spare bands to cover glaring gaps and split sections of the nose cone and body parts to get the diameters to fit.
I finally threw in the towel and round filed the thing, though.

Some more engine-parts. I needed to strenghen the pipes that attache the engine to the body. I used rolled paper over a drinking-straw and then covered everything with the pipe-parts. I omitted the bends because they were to fiddely and teared easily
