Not to burst your bubble, but per other forum members who have attempted to assemble this model, there are fundamental problems with the kit which make it darn near unbuildable. Rant of the day

I was always scared off by the warnings. I hope you will muscle through (and offer a set of parts to fix the wrong ones in the kit)

Yeah... I had some bad disappointment with the nose not fitting at all.
My experience with it was bad enough that I never attempted to build the body or the wings.
But if the nose happens to be the only problematic part, then I guess with some patience it could be fixed somehow.
(I attempted it at a time when my patience was zero.)

Still a nice design and good graphics. But as far as I know the designer never corrected the mistakes.

If I recall correctly, there was someone at the German forum
who reduced the scale and built this kit in a very small size,
making some serious surgery to the nose and other problematic parts.

(found it here: https://www.kartonbau.de/forum/erfah...65/#post404289 )

Wishing you luck. And if you come with a solution to the unbuildable parts, please share it.

The said fit issues are way too big for a kit designed in the information age. Please post your follow-up progress

So far so good... :)

I started with the cockpit.I enhanced some dials and dashboard. The windshield and dashboard I laminated with clear plastic. The safety-belt is scratchbuild.

Good luck. I'll be watching with interest. I've always liked the look of this model, but never attempted it do largely to bad press. What you've done so far looks great.
