Build both at 1/200th? I did Tachi in that scale (even added detail) and it wasn't difficult....

I subscribe to the YouTube channel “The Expanse”. They have a video of the class and size of the ships. Oh yes the Donnager is much bigger than the Taschi, which is bigger than the Africanus. Hope the link works.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the Donnager could hold 2 Tachi sized ships in it's hangar. Not sure if that's cannon or not but it seems to be about right.

Noticed an error in the model that had me scratching my head for a bit. The hull parts for MB2 both have "TOP" marked on them, and they're not identical. It took me some time, but I found out that the panel with MCRN printed on it is indeed the actual top panel, but this probably should be corrected. Also, I noticed when assembling MB1 that the structure is slightly undersized in width, as the hull panels overlap by 2mm or so, but I had to cut the front of the structure down by a similar amount. The latter is probably due to not using an appropriate thickness of material and was expected when I assembled it, but I can't determine a cause for the former.

I'll post more here as I continue assembly. All in all, it's an awesome kit and none of the problems so far have been anything approaching unfixable.

Recognise those problems. But nothing to bad. What size are you building it?
Can we follow in pictures?
I have MB5 in my hands now, finished 4 minutes ago.

This morning i was reading the chapter where the Donnager is under attack and gets boarded!

When i'm finished building. I'm going to try and paint the 2mm white on MB1. if that don't work/turns out ugly I rebuild.
I didn't think of cutting it down.

I wouldn't paint it white. If you just run a fresh eXacto blade along the surface, gently sawing it back and forth, it'll trim the excess just fine, then you can paint or ink the exposed paper dark gray or black to conceal it.
