More on the cabin bracing and formers.

Delta Flyer
More on the front of the ship. I took a wide strip of regular paper and formed it around the curved front.
I started on the raised floor in the cabin. Used a piece of foam board to get the height. |

Agreed. He had an excellent start. I wonder if he'd found it too difficult to translate his drawings into model bits.

He had already done three models with his design. And this one was almost finished. All he had to do was unfold and post the schematics.
Here are a few more details. Now for the instruments and then to skin the ship with Ninjatoes schematics/plans. |

I must declare the demise of the Delta Flyer, it is destroyed beyond repair. I may pick it up later but for now it jumped to the rear of the queue list. Working on that Horse carriage buggy and details for the stage coach.

I have this historical book bigger and thicker than 'Janes Ships and Planes', U.S. Army a Complete History, I had the model on the floor next to my desk when my Tome fell and crushed the bulkheads and all the paneling and skin I put on it. It was sturdy but not that strong.

That's too bad, Silveroxide. I think it would have been an awesome finished product.

Yeowch! I'm sorry this happened, Silveroxide. I'm sure it would have been an excellent model.

The Flyer like the Phoenix will rise again. I had some fit problems up to the disaster but I still have the plans and ninjatoes skin fit perfect with the formers and bulkheads. I will adjust, adapt and overcome. I am going to finish my Physicians buggy first and try not to do two builds at the same time, it leads to carelessness.
