Red Shadows: Hyena

For those who may not know, british company Palitoy in the 80s produced a line of action figures called Action Force. The baddies, the Red Shadows, had a number of vehicles one of which was a tank called the hyena which some might recognised as the Cobra HISS tank.

Right now I want to get the size right so for those familiar with the toy, does the side look about right next to this 28mm mini ?

Hmmm...
The cannon on the vehicle is just about the same size as the one the mini fig is holding. I'm guessing the vehicle should be 2x larger.

I would say it look in scale if the top of the head of the figure is near the middle of the top gear of the track

That looks about right going off of the photos I have seen of the vehicle done in plastic with a figurine next to it. What looks like an upper cannon appears to be a crew gun position for the mounted automatic weapon with a gunner standing behind the weapon. Again that is based on the many photos I have seen of the plastic version. The front of the vehicle looks to be a cockpit with a space for a semi-reclined crew member/driver.

Here is a picture with a figure standing next to the vehicle and a figure in the gun position.

I had found some picture with the driver standing next to the side and it *appeared* (angle of view can distort things) that the top of the head arrived just below the "weld line".

The thing is, at a smaller scale, the base of the figure and the fact that humans tend to be made chunkier tends to make the tank look a bit small to me.

Someone on facebook pointed me to a 3D printed of the Hyena he made and I think the slightly larger size looks better.
