Red Shadows: Baron Ironblood

I like the versatility (and cheapness) of paper minis but one problem (to no one's surprise) is that that they are flat which means that if not viewed at the right angle, they can be difficult to identify on large and complex displays.

I've been trying to think of ways to keep the minis quick to assemble (something important in my mind for gaming) while at the same time having so 3 dimensionality.

This is very much a work in progress but here is today's experiment: Baron Ironblood, leader of the Red Shadows. If you take away the base , the Baron is about right for the 40mm scale but the eventual goal is 28mm.

thanks though just in case it wasn't clear, I printed the head and chest emblem. I don't have the skills to draw at that scale.
