Hello everyone. The end is almost there. Finish the first part of the engine. The most difficult part was the circular part, I think it is the reactor housing. Another thing that is becoming increasingly difficult is to manipulate the model, it is very long and at the end they have very fragile parts. You have to be very careful. Greetings in these difficult times

Awesome stuff. I remember following the design and test build of this beast, years ago, thinking how much I'd love to build it. Sadly too many other projects have crept higher up the to-do list but for now I can enjoy watching you build yours.

Thanks for the feedback. The presence of other projects, not necessarily papercraft, the lack of space, many factors against the construction of this incredible model. A change in circumstances allowed me to complete it, well, almost complete it. Again, thanks for the comments.

Hello Arne 2019. Until now I had no need for internal reinforcements. The entire model is based on medium-sized pieces, which do not require an internal structure. For now, the Sulaco appears to be very sturdy and can be easily handled, being careful with the ends, which feature very small parts.

what kind of paper do you use? I normally use 160gr.

Hello arne2019. Yes, that is the author's idea.
In general, I use glossy illustration paper over 200gr, at least for large models. |

Hello people. Closer and closer to the end. This is the first part of the engines section. Few small parts. I'm a little concerned about the union with the rest of the ship. There is little contact surface for a large section. I'll see how I deal with the assembly.
