2001 model locations

Hi Folks!

Yes it's me. I've been very busy with family/life issues over the past few years. I'll be glad to respond to questions, (but my response time may have a little lag).

looking for the location of the following models to build for myself:

2001 space station
2001 discovery ship
2001 Space pod
Latest Apollo LM model

the site that hosted them seems to be inoperative for downloads.

Be safe!

Duke Out!

Welcome back! Uhu02's site has all of them, but you have to go through some Byzantine process to get the password from another card modeling website I won't mention here, and that gets you into his library. Or at least it used to. He may well have changed the whole procedure. He gets very antsy about pirating.

UHU02 changed his process a while ago.
For a while, if you commented on one of his build logs, he would E-Mail the files back to you when the build was finished.
But with his current project, the Battleship Yamato, he is only offering it to Japanese commenters. I'm not sure if this is because this particular model has such high historical importance to Japan in particular, or if this is his future plan for all his models.
I got the Millennium Falcon cockpit, which was one of the last models he just posted on his site for a while, but a quick eBay search will show you quite a number of people who are selling that very same model, which I'm sure is why he no longer offers his models freely. Which is a shame.
But I enjoy watching his design process, so I still follow his page to see his progress on his models.

Uhu has simplified his website by removing his "Secret Library".
Now, links to all of his projects are presented in the left side menu.
But most are just recaps of the projects with links to the original "Build" tutorials.

Although, I found a number of Uhu's older models are currently available for download.
I just clicked through the "My Work" thumbnails...
and found a few with model files (as well as the "How to build" pages).

Not sure what his process is for deciding which models should still be available,
but a few older kits still are...who knows for how long.
The Lunar Module is one of the kits still available.

Don't download Uhu's kits from anywhere else...if you do so, you are supporting piracy and the unauthorized sharing of models.

Uhu offers single page downloads ...never a complete PDF with all the pages.
Its a bit of a pain to download each page individually, but their large data size explains why.
Uhu does not reduce the file size or quality of his artwork when he shares them, so his kits can be quite big!
