lehcyfer,
You are doing a wonderful job on this build. The amout of detail that you are putting into this model is outstanding. Keep up the good work.

In telegraphic mode - but many pictures

Connection module: Impress, cut-in, bend,

glue, paint with thin black paint.

Aft section - show of making cut-ins:
Mark ends of lines of bending, cut vertically,

cut at angle, remove paper from cut-in, bend.

Imperfections of model: Aft section bent part too long (cut it); center and aft sections misalignment, aft section wider than the center section.

My fix: from second set the roof part cut to dimension, lines drawn, cut out (the cutouts will be used as new spaces between the framerwork), glued on cardboard, first cut inside, then outside, how it will look.

Too many pictures in one post - the rest in the next one

Continuation:

Center section - nacelle base: Cut-ins, bend, circles cutout for extrusions, extrusions cutout and retouched,

glued on; nacelles base inside center section.

Aft section formed and with extrusions

Everything put together dry: top, bottom,

close-ups

Cheers!

Short update - large ones seem to intimidate you

Fan on top. cut out one more inside circle and used it up for fan parts - punched out the circle and cut the blades from it. Assembled part was sanded to make conical sides and painted.

Voila!

EDIT: As cmags and silveroxide pointed it's not a fan but an access hatch. :D

This build is incredible. Keep up the great work! (By the way, I believe that's a docking hatch, not a fan - but was beautifully built anyway.)

Now that was the word I was looking for when I made mine, I called it an access hatch cover.

I always thought it was part of the warp core.

And so we are enlightened, But it did looked like a hatch access to another ship. like a sucker pilot fish mouth to stick to the side of a shark.
