Narcissus Build

Here are a few progress pictures of my build of Thales Narcissus.
This represents about 3 months progress! This is because I build very slowly, sometimes only a couple of hours per week, and because I had to scrap my original build due to a scaling issue when I printed the kit!
Thales has done an excellent job designing this kit, the fit is excellent and the level of detail is exceptional.
In the picture the smaller parts are the incorrect ones.
More to come soon, hopefully!

This kit is great but it's ultra complicated.

How is it complicated?
Thales has shown how he has built every part
and all the pieces build up using techniques you already know from building other paper models

you might be intimidated by the parts and the build, but the entire kit is nothing you haven't seen before.

I have to agree with rickstef, Thales instructions are excellent, and the fit of the kit is superb.
I am by no means an experienced paper modeller, but even I have managed to get this far! The initial problems I had were all of my own doing, nothing to do with the kit or the instructions.
Read the instructions, grab a sharp knife and have a go! I think you will be pleased with the results!

I hope you enjoy building it. I have a lot of fun designing it. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
What you've done so far looks superb.

I'm wondering if there might be a language issue. Dunarispace's profile says he's in Poland, so maybe "complicated" isn't the word he intended. We do have an array of nationalities here, and those of us who are native English speakers should bear in mind that we're often among people for whom English is a second or even third language. It is not the easiest of languages to master.

I'd give the guy a break.

I missed something, or did someone delete a post? I don't see where anyone is giving dunarispace a hard time.

I have not built this kit, but from what I have seen, it looks like there are a lot of parts, but it is a collection of easy to moderate parts that go together to form the whole.

If we offended anyone, it was unintentional. I think most of the comments were about the kit and encouraging folks to give it a try.
