The original white paper model I was modifying is now officially on the shelf. No offense to the designer but I'm on a clean slate design build now. The upper deck skins are a nightmare to assemble and they are out of scale to fit the lower half. I discovered this last night after repaint and mock up build. I am redesigning it today and will post new mockup pictures tomorrow. Sorry for the delay but I want it right.

Another note:

I think that the upper and lower skins would be better published as 11 x 17. This can be printed on bond copy paper and laminated onto poster board for cutting. This will reduce the seams and due to size, allow for better structural integrity. I could publish on 8 x 11 as a option for those who do not want to go thru this step or do not have access to a printer capable of handling 11 x 17 ledger size.

I am drawing now and just musing on the final publish configuration.

I'll be publishing skins tomorrow. I had to deviate from J 2 project to do this one for the office party. It's a gingerbread mountain! Back on task tonight.
