In answer to your question: the sculpted detail is just that: sculpted. I use apoxy sculpt & green stuff. I typically make a master model, then pour some silicon over it and make a push mold. Most of these details (the skulls, the aquilla winged ornament & the crown) come from older molds I made for my previous models (re-use, yay!).
