That is some model-well done. Love the Y-wing, overshadowed by the X-wing.

Thank you and fully agree, I like the Y-wings shape and because it’s not really shown much in the films it gives a little more creative license!

Found a way to embed the images using Flickr which seems perfect

These are some from the design stages in 3ds Max...

And some from the build and finished article

Hope you like them

Wow, looks great. By far the best Y-wing paper model.

Motivation to finish my shelved paper Y-wing drops down a little since there is this beauty (hope you will publish it, it would be great addition to SW model colection for many).

Only one thing that I would change a little are the front caps of the engines. They should be more eggshape. But that just me, because I have the model in the eye, because I studied it a lot for my paper model.

Thank you both

Wish I had found this image before in reference to the caps, thank you for sharing. I found it really hard to find reliable reference sources as everyone adds their own spin on it so decided to add my own for a lot of the sections.

Is there a place to upload the pdf files or just include them on here as an attachment? They do require tweaking as you model it mind so please bear this in mind.

That is fantastic.

There is section "Downloads" at top right of the site, where you can upload it (and when administrators aprove it it will show there) and you can put it here as attachement too (if it is posible, never tried it myself).

Imcold has lots of reference on the subject. I am colecting infos and photos of original models from SW so I have something too if you want. Just PM me.
