I want to believe

These are days during which I need to start and finish something quite quickly, so... a simple but very funny (at least, for me) build, the famous office of FBI special agents Fox Molder and Dana Scully as seen in the X-Files TV series, offered by AFT Download.

The original model is twice bigger, I preferred to halved it, because I have no much space, but I made the mistake of not reduce the paper weight as well; I maintained 240 gsm for the floor and walls and 200 gsm for the furnitures, but I suggest to use something thinner for a better result.

The template is made of joints, I glued it for a "better result", but I terribly failed in many details, besides I noticed that some parts disappeared during scaling. I tried to fix those lacks with poor results! Probably I will redo it, adding all the files included in the template.

This project shows great promise, asettico. I'd love to see a version two of the build.

Great idea. What's missing are piles of papers all over the desk and furniture and cut outs of Scully and Mulder reclining in the chair.

If you add ceiling panels stick some pencils in them. They were great looking addition to the office lol

In the template there are a lot of files to distribute all over the desk and tables. I did not put them, because the final result is not satisfactory.

I would like to redraw the parts, adding regular tabs instead of joint tabs and yes, the pencils are mandatory! But I'm not so accustomed in model design.
Besides I would like to add the other office's half, the one never walked by the characters, but clearly visible in many shots. I can't tell when I will do it, but if some volunteer will take a step forward... :-P

Philip, you are nice and very kind!
I can call my build something less than an alpha test!!!
I promise that I will redo it, just don't hold breath in the while.

Office

Very neat -
( Great idea. What's missing are piles of papers all over the desk and furniture and cut outs of Scully and Mulder reclining in the chair.)

I think a watch on the wall will be perfect, what is a office without a clock on the wall....
Some more accessories can still be added like a telephone, or computer.
This office can still go beyond it's limit.

Well done on this design !!

Did you know that the famous poster on Fox Mulder's wall is a plastic model?!

No, I don't mean the Saucer in the poster is a model...
I mean the entire poster can be had as a plastic model!!
