I'm binge-watching it just in these days... ;-)

Attempt at building Mulder's X-file office

Nice build, can't wait to see the additions on the rebuild. Thanks for the model find, and the idea to reduce the size. If you are on Insta check out @doll_buzz for some detail inspiration, not paper, but the level of detail is insane. Here's my attempt at the office model

Definitely better than mine!
I noticed that when I scaled down to 50%, some details are lost, i.e. the name on the nameplate.

I don't give up the idea to rebuild it, but the real life is calling.

I rebuilt the office, changing something from the first attempt.
First of all, I used 160 gsm paper, definitely better for smaller sizes.
Then, I further reduce the size of the model, raising the resolution from the original value, about 66 ppi, to 300 ppi. In this way, the images are better defined.
Finally, I did not use the slots and inserts, but I "created" the glue tabs to get a better alignment between among the parts.
Plus a lot of documents and folders all around...

Add Scully and Mulder plus a bunch of loose papers on top of those cabinets and desk.

Is this model about 8cm x 4cm or 8x4 inches? Looks like metric grid to me but that would make it very tiny model. Nice.

I don't think I will add something else, I'm quite satisfied by the result.

You are right, the sizes are approximately 8 cm x 6,5 cm x 6 cm.
Thanks for the word.
