Testing weight limit of T-bar ceiling...

I got a new phone last night (Env3) so I can use it for photos instead of my old 4MP shooter which is developing serious issues after being dropped too many times. First up are some shots of my growing constellation of random sci-fi ship models on the ceiling at work for your enjoyment. :D

I need to show this to the folks at work.
They looked at me a little funny when I hung up my Vulcan - at least we are in the airplane (sorta) business<G>

Very nice models. Do you fellow employees feel like they are protected, or under attack? (lol)

Some try mimicry, others fire rubber bands. Note the two standard paper airplanes in the background...

And the Battlestar (Galactica of course), actually casts quite the shadow over my desk. Took my boss about 3 days to notice it, and he was rather impressed by the size of it. All models except Galactica were built at lunch/break time.

If you really want to freak 'em out, make a mobile out of a couple of them so that the air currents cause them to move. I have a DH-2 that does this; of course, the other arm of the mobile is counter weighted.

Starship: Reason for never having seen one built- there are no instructions, the fold lines are illegible, and the darn thing is a royal PITA to put together. Barely avoided scrapping that one.

CDW: Yep, Tiger. Somebody else doing a build on that one right now. Model has great texturing.

CD: Yep, might try that sometime, but am running out of free space on the ceiling. :-)
