MCRN Scirocco

MCRN Scirocco from the show The Expanse. This thread is a touch point to bring everything for this model together in one place. The idea is anyone wants to build the model can ask questions about it here.

Link to the files, this includes the textured plans as well as the Blender file

Excellent job and some really good design work!

Not to sound too old-school, but are there just plain PDFs of it anywhere? My ancient iPad doesn't do Blender.

I'd be particularly interested in the Dropship. Always liked that utilitarian design and you've captured it well.

Scale of the ship is 1:400 (ship is meant to be 200m in universe)

Apologies folks the link above does only link to the Blender file, the link for the entire set including the Blender file, plans and textures is

No PDF just now the files (with the new link above) are .SVG, if you really want a PDF version of the enter ship I could upload one but it'll take a day or two to convert

In the mean time here's a PDF of the dropship

I'm really getting into these models and I've been preparing to print this one and try a build. I do have a question though. What's going on with the three pages "plate1", "plate2", and "plate3"? They're the only ones that have an overhang off of the printable area. Is there a trick to make these parts work for printing? Thanks!

What's up bro

Hey, I'm printing all the models you've shared from The Expanse series, but I can't find instructions anywhere.

I am new to this world of paper modeling. I entered this new world through The Expanse, I have always built plastic or resin models and because of the series I came here.

So I would love to be able to put them together, but without instructions it is quite difficult for me.

Also, my computer is very old and can't run the blender, so I'm hoping to have even a simple guide on how to put together the models, which are great.

Greetings and I hope you can help me
