Wonderful photos of a very clean build! Thanks for selecting my Enterprise to build.

I really like the idea of you resizing it. I printed one a while ago at 50% (1:1440 scale?) onto 32 lb paper because I thought that the cardstock might be too thick, but I haven't built it (yet).

Thanks for sharing!

Ron, thanks for your comments and even more for your wonderful design. The clean build is a real tribute to its designer.

I had no problems at all with the scale (even smaller than your 1:1440) using 65lb cardstock. I did, however, use normal bond paper as joining tabs and had to cut off most of the existing tabs (as you can see throughout my build). Not that it wouldn't have been possible with the tabs, just that I prefer the edge-glue look.

I love the shot of the three Space-E's" together, CMags! Very cool. I want to do a similar display now!

Awesome, go for it. Thanks to this great modeling community, there's plenty of kits to choose from. Off the top of my head:

TOS NCC-1701:
Chippy Chua's version
Ron's version
Mike Hungerford's vectorized version of Ron's
Pericles' version
Rawen's new Constitution class (though not currently labeled as Enterprise)

TMP NCC-1701 / 1701-A:
Shunichi Makino's 1701-A
My rescale/rework of Shunichi's
Diego Cortes' 1701-A

ST:XI NCC-1701:
Paragons' version
Rawens' version

That's a lot of Kirk! :p

There is really LOTs of Star trek ships...

It can be a good to make a place where can be all these starships for download. Something like general paper star trek site.
Its only an idea.

About tho model:
Absolutely clean build. I like the shot where is all 3 Ent. The TOS ent is best.

Mike Hungerford: NCC-1701 USS 'Enterprise' Model

This is the version I built - cleaner lines, easily scalable, adjusted colors, slight modification to the secondary hull. Nice update overall.
