WH40K M3 Half-track
I finished another Warhammer 40K model. This one is clearly based on the American M3 half-track. The kit is designed in 1/40 scale which is quite a bit bigger than the rest of Patoroch's 1/60 scale line of WH40K models. As with the Imperial steam tank that I finished recently, I had to redesign a couple of important parts to get a satisfactory result. Apart from that difficulty, the rest of build was absolutely trouble free. This is the first model of its kind that I've built that has a "glass" windshield and an interior. As usual, I used Photoshop to repaint/recolor/texture the model for a better look. There is a wire antenna at the rear which I left off for the photoshoot.
Many thanks to Armorman for his Warhammer 40K Goodness thread which keeps us all up to date on new releases. I've built paper models in many genres, but there's something about this line of kits that is particularly gratifying for me.

Thanks, Larry. This is the 11th kit from this line that I've built. They are awesome. I encourage you to try one.
