1/4000 scale USCSS Nostromo from the Alien

Thought I'd share an old build of mine. The Nostromo is perhaps one of my favorite spaceship designs for its unwieldy and utilitarian looks. To my surprise I couldn't find any papercrafts of it aside from a handful of scratch builds (maybe I wasn't looking hard enough though). And so I made my own! It's a fairly simple miniature the textures of which were hand drawn, but it was a fun build.

Full Imgur album here to save space.
I've never gotten to making an actual texture for it, and thus never released it, but if anyone would be interested I could share what I have right now through PMs.

Certainly looks like the Nostromo.

I’ve often wondered why nobody ever designed a card model of it. It is kind of an iconic sci-fi ship.

Yes, looks like a Nostromo.
Definitely.
Nice work! Especially because it is home-made.

And now go and add surface details... and then paint it

If out-of-the box usable papercraft templates are not available, looking for STL-Files and then unfolding them in pepakura could save work on projects like this.

In addition, later editing of the unfolded structure saved as SVG might make sense... but i assume Nostromo is uncomplicated enough.
"Uncomplicated" because Nostromo has almost no round or even organic shapes.
