and where is the problem? it is a simple build! Here is a pic from my (very old) model! maybe it helps a bit

by the way the scale is wrong! Clever meant a scale of 1/1700, but the truth is that this model is in 1/1000!

I'm talking about the area opposite the deflector dish. looking at some blueprint images I guess it's an open hangar bay. the one pic of that area here gives me some idea of how that's assembled, but leaves a few questions unanswered that I can't quite figure out.

bump

also, working on the lower section of the saucer I've got an outer ring and an inner disc, and the pictures clearly show them going together directly... except mind both have tabs. is there a ring that runs perpendicular to the inner disc and outer ring, or should I just cut the tabs off one of these pieces?

you mean the Aft-Torpedo-launcher! I made picture of it, but itīs hard to figure out! I made also a pic of that other structure part what is under the shuttle bay!

you can remove the flaps from the inner disc! thats is just a mistake from me! the reason is, that the original game model had there a stair to the dark blue ring!

Marko,

Has anyone ever fixed he engines on this kit?

They appaear way to short; almost half the size of the studio model nacelle length?

And where is your retextured version?

Thanks!

Nah, i guess not, that someone did a fix! Donīt forget: it was a game ripped model. Iīm not sure if there was all correct. A new construction would be more worth, but as you know my passion are the alien ships!

And i did no RETEXTURED version, just a REWORKED, which is still available:

Your Bajoran and Talarian turned out quite nice. I printed them both and hope to start test fitting them this weekend!

Did you ever fix that Ferengi ship that you lost when your computer crashed? Or there Yeager? I always wondered how hard doing a Marquis ship would be from your Yeager kit.

I guess that this Excelsior kit could be adjusted by printing out the engines and then piecing in extensions to make the nacelles the right length? I suppose that would be the poor man's way of fixing it. The length on the kits nacelles are about close so it would mostly involve adding to the blue upper part of the engine [the magnatomic flux constrictor?].

I was never a bog fan of the Excelsior variant [Enterprise-B] but your coloring os so clean, it makes it more interesting...

Thanks!
