I'm not stopping, just taking a break. There are a bunch of ships to create for SFB, so naturally I was feeling a bit burnt out. :o

hey if you need a beta builder im your guy. Just this week i dug out all my old SFB stuff and i have begun writing a campaign. these models would be excellent for it!!

Sure thing, guys. But I want to finish them all first. I'm on two weeks' vacation next week and the week after, so expect to see some new stuff involving the Klingons and Romulans.

Mill i am curious would be possible to make them to scale with the actually game minis? Also are you going to try to make fighters and fast patrol ships as well?

Probably on the order of 300-350 designs. There are 13 races, plus civies and generic units, and each race has about 15-20 designs.

@Thokamous:

That's why I'm making them in the first place. :D I'd like to be able to call upon a fleet of starships without having to spend several C-notes. That's also why they are so simple. At gaming scale they will look very detailed.

so i am too assume you are an SFB player as well.. Thats awsome there is so few of us anymore.:(So when do you think you will have any of them ready?maybe just a blank one for me to try?

Gimmie a list of ships you need for your campaign and I'll bang them out ASAP. I've got a D-7 almost finished, which is all gray anyway, so if you need that one I can have that finished in a couple of hours (the bulb is giving me fits), and since it's the basis of so many Klingon and Romulan designs I can make several others for you. I will need to measure the miniatures I have in order to get the right size so they can blend in with ones you and I have.

This is NOT an invitation for beta testing, people!! I'm only giving thokamous the ones he needs right now.

It *is* however an invitation for a game via some sort of instant messenger of Star Fleet Battles, if anyone's interested.
