While the textures were very time consuming to do, they took a lot less time than I expected. I'm looking for someone to test build it if interested. The instructions for the old version should still be valid.

I have a Nikon D40X, a Canon A540, and an old Mavica for up close shots, and I only work part time.

Well, I finally finished building her, and I'm quite happy so far. Still not the easiest build though.

You can see the aft section is now more accurate as well:



And I believe these ships comprise all the different classes present at the Battle of Sector 001 (ST:FC). Note the recently overhauled Enterprise. It took me a good four days to remove and reconstruct the most compromised areas (especially those damn nacelles, the new ones are reinforced and much more durable now).



While most of the ships seem to fit in (besides my need to rebuild the Sabre, and maybe fix up the Akira) there is one ship that sticks out like a sore thumb in terms of detail: the Norway. Not to fear, I have plans to retexture it a well (though it may prove difficult with the lack of good reference images). Also getting new textures are the Prometheus, Durandal and Centaur.

good stuff there, btw, I like how you photographed the fleet for the last pic, idk if you are aware but thats just how they filmed the Galaxy Enterprise D for The Next Generation, upside down with cameras hung on rails...
