Thanks Tapcho for the link and the advice. I never thought of doing anything like that. But will have to most probably invest some time into it.

Oh and Phil, yeah I get the same gut feeling about it. But never the less I'm gonna keep trekking on :P

Finished the back end...

No new updates for now, Basically I just tweaked everything to be paper folding friendly.

Also I noticed some edges were off so fixed them.
Once I've done the middle section Ill post another pic.

Just to keep those of you informed. Ill be updating once the head of the ship is complete. Iv redisgned quite a bit of parts to make the assembly easier. There are lots of small detailed parts. some of which I have no clue on how to design.

So I will be doing some thinking and some research into these matters

I guess I prematuraly sent my last message.
Finished the head. Now all thats left is finishing the landing gear, and all the accessories.

Sorry the render came out weird, there are edges where edges shouldn't be, but im sure it will come out better.

Hopefully I can start building ASAP!

The mesh, even though you work in quads always have an "invisible" edge from two opposing corners. (basically splitting your square into 2 triangles because the square isn't flat )
Model looks great so far!

Thanks TC for clearing that up! :P

Finished the landing gear. It looks quite complex, But im hoping that it will be easy to put together. Iv made some easy adjustments for that. Just hoping that it can withold the weight of the actual model and not completely crush the gear :(

Contemplating rolling paper to the desired thickness for the gear's tubing to increase its stability.

Depending on the final size, and if you don't mind alternate mediums, maybe roll the paper around toothpicks.
