... and from the space sarcophagus, through the cosmic dust, a small update has struggled to come to you all

sorry guys, this ship is taking so long and I'm in the middle of a super strong season for me, among university and other things, so my little spare time must be splitted into differents bits and only a few go to this work :(
anyway, not so much to show, but interesting because it's the first time I build something with a truncated cone shape as small as that one. pics are a bit messy, sorry againg

oh, last four pics are about the new look I chose for the ship (and the red circle is the component I'm working on, four of them);
1st: prototypes of this "cylinder" and one of the eight fins;
8th pic: upper "plates", needing a good sandpaper treatment.
I do hope to be a bit more continuous from here on, please have patience with me!

Hard to decide who's getting the better deal here. You have a girlfriend who really likes you mode, wants it, you say "no, let me make one special for you:. So, you have a girlfriend that is into paper models, how cool is that! She was O.K. with not getting the one she asked for, How cool is that!! Now, you're making her a "special model of her own". You obviously have found a great girlfriend, but she is getting a special model made for her, especially for her, now, I have to ask you, HOW COOL IS THAT! Sounds like the beginning of a great relationship!!

eheheh! yes, but she's also stealing all my free time so I can't manage to work on it

you know what? I think in the end I'll keep the ship for me and give her a bouquet

anyway, It's almost complete now, only need to glue all togheter and weather all; I think all my work could see the very end next week.

yes.... :D very useful!
well, this model is somewhat a step backward from my good purposes about using almost paper and limit plastic and whatever to minimum, but after more than 2, TWO years of pauses, little spare time, university and so on, I had to accelerate in some way... so the decision to put on so much plastic :(... a well-meant decision, afterall.
