great great thread. I am myself trying to build man o' war rather than war 40k models but my 12 years old son saw this thread from behind my shoulder and he now wants to build some.

I would suggest the Rhino (runo) or razorback as they are fairly blocky design and minimum detail (plus pretty much the same chassis). I would also remind all that these models are on A4 paper format.

I am new to paper model myself too and I had not thought much about those * is it a convention that parts which are numbered like that are supposed to be thicker? I am building some of this kits with my kids and I don't want to have them disappointed because I didn't know how to interpret the instructions
