One way around that is to use an online keyboard
then paste the word into the verify checkbox

Question

Hey guys.. long time no see, still working on my first real project, the 2009 Immolator, Eli Patoroch style

Anyway, I have a problem with the flamer.
Basically, I don't see how piece Phi5 is supposed to be handled.

I am pretty sure that it will never form the (double) twin-barrelled flamer that is seen in the construction blueprint.
But probably it will form SOME kind of flamer ... I just can't figure out how.
I even think that I have seen the type of flamer the piece Phi5 is designed to be somewhere, in some other model.. couldn't find it, though.

I have put the relevant pieces in a small pdf for any friendly helper's consideration:

I'm grateful for any help you can provide, kind masters of the craft

PS: I also don't understand why pieces Phi1 and Phi3 are separate pieces, either. The way I see it, they just get glued together anyway... but that's of no real concern

Thanks again in advance!

This is a very common barrel design. I printed out the pdf that you posted and made the barrels. Here are the photos on how to form them.

Just roll the barrels tightly.

Use a toothpick (bamboo skewer or other dowel the same size as the barrel) to hold the the shape as you are gluing and forming it.

Make certain that you match up the edges to make the barrel look right.

Wrap the excess strip (with the black dots0 around the rest of the barrel.

Both barrels are finished.

Good luck with it. If you have any other questions, just PM me and I will do what I can to help you out.

Thumbs up

Ahh, now I feel stupid.
It is really quite simple, how did I not see that...

Anyway, thanks a lot for your quick and incredibly detailed help!

I'll get back to work right away!

Could you post a build thread?
