I've built 4 WH40K vehicles so far, and always "fit to print" on letter sized paper. I've never had any problem with distortion - the parts fit has been uniformly perfect. At 100%, these models are scaled to 1/60. After the fit to print reduction, they work out to 1/67.

I thought most of these Warhammer models were 1/40? I seem to recall discussion on this a couple of years back but can't find it now...1/60 makes sense to me though as I think my plastic WH models were in that scale...

They're intended to match the scale of the figs. Many of the Mechwarrior/Battletech models are 1/40.
