Kind of a side question, only kinda-sorta related to paper modeling, but I don't do enough 40K to subscribe to Dakka-dakka or anything, so Admins, feel free to delete with extreme prejudice.

Anyone familiar with Warhammer 40,000 knows that the minis for the Space Marines are undersized. One look at the minis and you can see the alleged massively built, double-organed, religious fanatic is about the same size as your average malnourished Hive City gang banger.

Has anyone considered printing off a few Space Marines and gluing the armor to Mega Bloks minis? I got a couple of "HALO Guys"--as my sons call them--for Christmas, and after placing them next to a Tau mini I use to show scale, the idea occurred to me.

For example, ignore the 'mech and take a look at Master Chief and G'Nea Pyg, our local representative of the F'Que sept of the Tau.

Also, as an added twist, Mega Bloks is coming out with this:

Necrons, anyone?

Have to admit to not knowing who Jim Bowen is. Love the models though, especially the rich colors he uses. Thanks for posting these!

A couple of those in there are Aaron Hopkins repaints, but he was trying to find a way to share them on the site, so he is very pleased that his repaints got included

Not taking anything away from Jim

Aha! Now it makes sense. I'm familiar with that name.
