Hereis the next sheet, The first tower and second wall. There is very little uniformity between building and wall styles. As the name implies this is an "imaginary" town. My Czech dictionary is quite small so I don't get much from the book but each structure has an introduction ddescribing it. I believe it was the author's intent to create a mixed and varied view of medieval and renaissance buildings.

it continues
I slacked off of the paper models to finish the kitchen table I have been making. Wood is just unprocessed paper, isn't it?
Here is one picture of the finished table and an update of the Town. More town has been done but not photoed yet. George |

Very nice work on the table and the Town. Is the table oak or ash? It appears to be oak since the grain appears abit wide for ash.

Hi-glounsbury
very nice build XP about the table...I think it doesn't fit the paper just because of the wood colors XP |

Here are the latest pictures.
One house is still "under construction" I took pictures at low angle all around just to show that no two sections of the wall are the same and niether are anyof the towers the same. George |

Very interesting. Like you said it's a fantasy city. Having completely different wall and towers like that. Great buildings though. Would be a relatively simple thing to choose a style of wall and tgower and replicate them to get a slightly more uniform outer wall. Loving it so far.
And thanks for the tip about using the pins to mark the score lines on the back of the card. Sooooooo simple but I hadn't thought of it before!! |

I've just had a look at Gunters build. I think when you said it's a long term project you weren't joking. These are some excellent and detailed buildings. I'm very tempted to have a go myself, but know I don't have the time. Might conside buying the book and putting it away for when i retire!!
