Are your buildings going to be diorama-like or are you going to be building something for the kids? Either way, the Fort at Page 42 mentioned above could easily be converted to the larger size. There is also a town and ranch. I got some of the miscellaneous pieces from there and rescaled and re-textured to use on my HO railroad. For the height required for 11 inch figures, cardboard with bracing or frame should work well. Also check out YPS Fanpage ... YPS Fanpage: Sonstiges: Bastelbögen

Thanks for the link. I've downloaded both the town, and the Fort from the Disney site. I'm thinking about using black foamcore, and making the front or rear wall removable so that it could be used as an adult playset for displaying the Johnny West figures. I am thinking about more of a diorama like design. But I may make textures in Photoshop and print out the textures and glue them on instead of painting everything from scratch.

I wish my son would have been into Johnny West as much as I was as a kid, but we did make a lot of stuff for his GI Joe's.

Have a lot of fun with this.

I just downloaded Oliver's Chuck Wagon from his website. I think it would work and it could easily be converted to the buckboard, and the covered wagon, maybe the cavalry wagon. Now if I can find the Stagecoach in a detailed paper kit. I think Silver Oxide is still working on one. I'd also like to see a circus wagon or maybe the drummer's wagon, like the one Artemus Gordon used all the time on the Wild Wild West. I'm researching Johnny West to see if I can find a body for an Artemus and sculpt a head for him. I'm already working on a redesign of Jamie West into Dr. Megelito Loveless. Shorten the arms, legs, body and sculpt a head. Its a dream but I do work on custom toys now that I've gotten laid off again. Twice in a ten year period. Maybe I can just build custom displays, toys, and playsets and just retire. Thanks again guys for the info.

Wrong theme, wrong medium, right scale. Talk about inspiration, though...
