The core consists of three parts - carefully lined up for a correct vertical line. The construction is a bit awkward here - the parts have to be slid over each other, which of course becomes more difficult as the overall size is decreased. I would have preferred a sleeve fitting inside the various elements.

I didn't see this on the Zeist Bouwplaten website, so I assume the copyright issue hasn't been resolved. Any progress? My brother lives in Seattle, and I'd like to build this for him.
Many other nice and interesting models at Zeist too; I'll be back.

I have tried in a number of ways to find out who the copyright holder is, so far unsuccessfully. Am reserving a fair percentage in case anyone turns up. For now, I am offering the files for download: see my website, go to Home > news, scroll down to December 2nd.

I know this is an old thread, but I found what I believe is the same model at the Seattle Public Library on the ninth floor. Is anyone aware of who built it?

I built this kit years ago, 1990-ish I think?

I still have the instruction book, but the model itelf, got smooshed in a move. Here's a pic of the booklet of my version. I do remember the kit being in a box form. I bought it from the Powells Bookstore in PDX Oregon, originally sold through PMI.

I looked for the PDF on the Newspage of Didericks site, nothing there? Is it available?

I’m in Seattle today, so naturally had to head to the 9th floor of the public library. Thanks, Joshajaeseo

That's so cool that you got to see it too! How long are you staying in Seattle?
