Thanks, Group -- I had no idea that your nation had so many of these towers. And just from the styles, it seems that people have been building them during many periods of history. Were they meant to be guard towers, or just places to see wonderful views of scenery?

Our observation tower is divided into three categories:
-historic stone towers - towers covered old castles, but also specially built for the views of the countryside.
-wooden tower - built for the purpose countryside views.
- Metal towers - combined transmitter or antenna tower.

I love the architecture of your country. VEry inviting. Would love to visit some day. But I can't fly until they change the regulations for people with sitting disabilities. Love your models.

Our country is really beautiful. We offer visitors what they can not find elsewhere. Historical, technical and natural attractions in a very small space. Where else can you find 5-6 observation towers at 30 kilometers?

I imagine other models of foreign authors.

I can confirm that Czech is a great place to visit.

The first time we visited was in the early 1990s we only visited Prague that time. Our next visit was for two weeks. I had found out that there are over 400 castles in the country and one of the best "open air museums"' We stayed in Prague foe a few days then drove to one of the best towns in the country it's now a UNESCO heritage site and in Czesky Crumlov we stayed in a converted monastery. We spent the next four days visiting castles. We moved on to Burno for another 4 days and visited more castles! and the open air museum - Rožnov pod Radhoštěm - in the far South East of Bohemia.

I have to admit that since The Czech Republic has joined the EU priced have increased and Prague is teaming with young people who go just for the beer. It doesn't mean it's not the place to go - Prague has a great collection of buildings. The rest of the country hasn't changed much - thankfully (for us) the tourists haven't discovered the rest of the country.
