That is nicer than the first.
I like this photo of the castle wall in the link below. It really shows the color of the grout and the color variations in the stones themselves as well as color contrast of stone work on various aspects of the architecture. You might have fun experimenting with color sampling direct from the photo for use on the model. http://www.wicklewoodschool.co.uk/wp...e-rising-4.jpg |

More testing...
This uploaded image doesn't do justice to the colours really, in reality in front of me on the desk the colours are much deeper and have more tone to them! Need to use a better device to capture. |

I like that softer look of the grout color versus the two earlier versions. Enough color contrast to make it noticeable but it does not look overly busy. Good balance!

Okay here's an update.
All rendering work is complete. The design represents an Architectural impression, I have used 'Artistic Licence' with my own choice of style and colours to bring the model alive. All façades and details are close as to what the original may have looked like, the building form and proportions have been drafted accurately. The kit comprises 16 full A4 size colour pages with 160 parts to build the model. The scale is 1:120. The model is designed to be printed on approx 160g thin card stock. 1mm card stock will be required for the formers. I will now build the model and make notes for the next stage of drawing and writing instruction sheets. Clive |

Love what you are doing Clive.
I'm looking forward to seeing it built by the creator. Best Regards, Gary |

Plumdragon p.s. things always look better to me too, with the glasses off ;-) |
