A beautiful scene. The golden paper really make the little houses and castle glisten.

Merry Christmas photo show

My customers sometimes share photos of what they have done with the kits. I thought sharing these would make for a nice virtual Christmas display.

I was going to tell you which one(s) I liked best but found out that I couldn't decide! In their own way each was best. You have some very talented customers!

I completely agree with Elliott, but #4 takes me back to my childhood days in 1940. Our next door neighbor, at Christmas time, would always build a village on her mantle and a couple of side tables. She would use the cardboard miniature houses that were sold at the 5 and 10 cent store. Then she would invite all the neighborhood children in and listen to our "OOOhs and Aaaahs". It still warms the heart when I remember it.

Microsized paper lighthouse in a glass dome necklace

White card paper villages-lighthouse-necklace.jpg
What some of my friends will be getting for gifts this year, new jewelry or they can hang it as an ornament on the tree or in a window. The dome piece overall is 1 inch diameter by 2 inches high. The clarity of the glass is nice. This makes a fun way to give a micro-model as a gift.

For those of you might want to find these very small domes to use with your micro-sized models here is a link to an Etsy store where you can purchase the domes from a supplier in China who will ship worldwide. Note that I have no personal connection with this supplier but they do have good reviews for their customer service and the price is very reasonable. In addition they have a number of choices of styles and colors of metal fittings to use with the dome. https://www.etsy.com/listing/4854347...s-dome-bottles
