BTW ... in my office I have shelves going almost all the way around, about one foot down from the ceiling. It helps to supply room for models, out of the way, and out of reach of the cats

Thanks...Southwell will be my next purchase I think.
Considering I live in rented accomodation shelves are a no no for me but am saving to find a large storage case to store them when possible!

Hi Ben

I took delivery of this model today and am slightly daunted by it! I usually model OO gauge model railways... but am currently building an N gauge layout with this as the other main visual attraction! It works well with N gauge as I think the model is more 1:200 (not far off the 1:148 of N gauge)

So... I'm used to modelling using Metcalfe, Ratio, Wills kits etc..... but have yet to do anything like this. Have you any advice for me on construction?

That's a nice model Ben.

I keep my models in the loft. I find empty boxes (free) at supermarkets etc. Cheaper than buying "proper" storage ;-)
