Wittenberg Castle Church
The name may be unfamiliar, but one of their "students" may be more familiar - Martin Luther. He pinned a theses to the church door, criticising the Catholic Church for their sale of indulgences. This started the adoption of the Protestant church and arguably the change in the style of art in Northern Europe. This all happened in 1517 and I guess this kit was published to coincides with 500th anniversary.
Anyway, this is the latest from Schreiber and, to my mind isn't quite up to their usual standard. Having said that there isn't much to criticise, just a few fit issues on the dome. The kit is 1:200 scale and measures 38 X 18 X 44 cm It's quite an easy model to make - apart from the "filigree" bit next to the tower. Yet another "been there, done that, bought the kit" item to add to the list ;-) Cheers Mike |

You have a knack for choosing models that I would like to do, but know I'd mess up. Very nicely done, sir

A very striking model, Mike! Beautiful Schreiber graphics, combined with your usual neat & precise assembly. Really impressive cutting on the tracery atop that gable. Excellent work!
