Does the "White Hart" model some with a Harry Purvis cut out figure?

I don't believe he was ever officially given a likeness, was he? I suppose it wouldn't be that difficult to do an Arthur C. Clarke figure. I actually saw him once in a physics lecture. Needless to say, when it was opened to questions, it was all Sci-Fi

Here is another "White Hart Inn" in winter; that beautiful model of yours sent me straight away looking for images of a set of coaching scenes I was commissioned to paint years ago for 'Clinton Cards'. They put about four different designs in each box and I must've painted about 20 of the things altogether. To that end I bought (and still have) three well-illustrated books all about old Inns, to help me with the job. If you could only remember some more detail about that original picture that got you started, I might just have it in one of these books; there are loads of photos. It's a lovely model... real nostalgic |

Vermin King,
If I might ask a couple of questions? 1. The lower windows flanking the door on the left side view of the Inn are bay windows, rather than recessed? 2. Is that coach available somewhere? Thanks, John |

2. The coach is from Jordan Peacock and PEG, but I am not finding a working link

If you know of the painting I am thinking of, I would love to see it again. I'd also like to see more of your artwork

Here's another image to go with the first (I'll PM you a link to more artwork). I regret that the books I mentioned feature only old photographs of inns; was it a very old painting, as I've just remembered a coaching book I have which contains a number of these? |

I'm afraid I could find no paintings in the book that resemble your description...
