With the weathering and details, these are exceptionally realistic.

There are projects that I do 'on a whim', but this was one I wanted to do well.

Glad you like it

It is very very nice. I have enjoyed the journey, and most of all the coaching stock!

I found a chest on PaperMau that would look good on the back of that coach. It will take a little down sizing since it is in 1/6 scale, but the model is clean and crisp, so it should not be a problem putting it together in the smaller scale.

Sounds good. I was assuming the ledge was either for a coachman to stand on or for baggage.

A trunk would be appropriate

Should have downsized my trunk a little further, but it's 'acceptable'

That looks absolutely great! Is the trunk your design, because it looks like it was designed for that coach?

It is Sirrob01's from https://sirrob01.com/2013/07/14/trea...id-papercraft/

Did a repaint to match the coach and scaled it to 80% to fit on the back, but it needs to be smaller yet. Probably about 70% of the size of Sirrob01's originals

Working on a couple freight projects right now. I feel that rectangular trunks or barrels might be more appropriate on the back, if a coachman isn't attending. So I'm going to try to do some convincing barrels and rectangular trunks instead of the half-rounds.

I've also had a request for a couple vardos. A Reading and a Ledge, as opposed to a bow-top, open-lot, or Burton. He also wants to have a mollicroft on it. He wants something a bit more convincing than the FG model. I had thought I'd get way with just shortening the chassis and slapping on a different box, but this is getting much more involved. But it is highly interesting.

When I mentioned the vardo project, that led to a suggestion from someone else that I consider early-1800's circus wagons. hmmm
