Baths of Caracalla/Rome (Schreiber 1/600)
Baths of Caracalla/Rome - 3rd century (Schreiber Bogen / Aue Verlag 2016, scale 1/600)
Design: P. Tabernacki This pretty model was published early 2016. Digitally designed with photographic internal decoration the model shows the central facilities of the large area from the 3rd century. Dimensions are 400 x 300 mm (appr.) - not that big, caused by the small scale. Everything of interest about the Baths of Caracalla may be found on wikipedia. Direct link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baths_of_Caracalla The first two pictures show the model assembled completely: Last edited by Thomas Pleiner; 11-16-2016 at 08:50 PM. |

Good construction views.
The Pennsylvania Railroad Station built in 1910 in New York City and demolished in 1963, was designed to resembled the Baths of Caracalla. There was a resemblance, especially the central triple cupola, but there was no caldarium. What Penn Station used to look like will make you weep with longing Don |
