Castle »Baerenfels« (Bear's rock) 1/250 H. Siegmund (1982 Schreiber Bogen|Aue Verlag)

... this little model showing a typical medieval european castle was first
published 1982 in three parts in Schreiber's Youth Magazine »Teddy«.
(One year after I took over Hubert Siegmund's job as card model designer
for more than a decade.)
The model »Baerenfels« (Bear's Rock Castle) has NO certain archetype in
reality, but shows all the typical architectual structures a medieval central
european castle contains ... in that way its an idealized model.

Inspite the 1/200 scale the model is not very detailed, therefore it took
only one day to assemble it.
The cardmodel »Baerenfels« is still in the regular Schreiber Bogen portfolio.

Enjoy 11 fast motion pictuers showing the assembly ...

Am I the only one thinking this fictionalised building very reminiscent of a certain infamous "schloss"?! You know, it was hunting for a paper model of Colditz castle that first led me to this forum, and whoever designed this model would have made a fantastic job of that too, I'm certain
